Globally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. Why do you think that is?

i am not sure that this is an accurate statement.  Men are often the sole support for their families with their earnings paying household bills that feed, support, clothe and warm their families.  IF women do indeed invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families, then i would say that is because women take their children's success more personally than do men.
