Bamboo flooring is available at flooring stores in the area. Bamboo fencing, blinds, cookware, paper products, towels, linens, etc are all readily available.

    Food Reduce Animal Products
What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than other countries, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How do we start shifting a meat-focused food culture?

North Americans have more disposable income than other countries, so they can afford meat products. The livestock industry is a powerful lobbying group and are pretty heavily subsidized. If the "plant growers" had more money to lobby Congress and promote their products and message, more attention would be given to that sector. Meanwhile, we should educate children about the health benefits/nutrition of a low meat diet in school. Also, field trips to local farms, summer camps, school gardens, cooking classes. Early education is key.
