My first box of imperfect produce has arrived - i can't wait to get home and put it to use!   According to stats on the imperfect produce website, with each box of produce we save not only that produce from going to waste, but gallons of water and CO2 from being released into the atmosphere.    Definitely a win-win-win!

First nice day and had a lovely trek up to Ramona Falls.  

The strawberries at NSM looked SOOOO good on Sunday but they were all in plastic boxes so I passed.

We buy and cook only the food we will eat before it spoils. I reuse the wax bags that come in cereal boxes for food storage and lunch bags instead of buying plastic bags or special containers. I have a repurposed a dictionary for a plant stand in my office - thanks to Kelly M and I hope to build a planter box out of recycled materials for this...

Recycling Tip for Earth Day: We can recycle styrofoam and all #6 plastics just a few miles down the road at Agilyx, 7904 SW Hunzinker Road, Tigard. The small clear plastic cups typically are a #6.
