    Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of this?

    I am more aware of how much I eat so I only eat as much as I actually need and feel more healthy.

    I don't want to waste things I can use as fertilizer for my garden. It saves me money on potting soil and reduces the amount of trash I have.

    It makes me feel good about myself and more healthy. I also am more aware of the world around me if I am walking or biking.
