REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity GenerationGeothermal energy is reliable, abundant, and efficient. Project Drawdown states that public investment will play a crucial role in its expansion. What kind of investment seems most feasible for you?
Rhea Bates 4/25/2018 4:33 PMI think that using geothermal energy in schools, apartment complexes, etc should be feasible, but it is very expensive. I think it would be really nice to use passive geothermal energy for my house, but we're renting the house so I don't know if that would possible. I'd defnitely consider it when we buy our own house though. -

Rhea Bates 4/24/2018 9:58 AMNo, but after earning about it I think the fact that wildlife habitats are created. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodDependable fresh food, supporting local farmers and building resilient communities are just a few benefits of local food systems. Which of these advantages inspire you the most?
Rhea Bates 4/24/2018 8:01 AMSupporting local farmers inspires me the most because I can help other people while helping myself by buying healthy foods that they've grown themselves. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterialsHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?
Rhea Bates 4/24/2018 7:59 AMTo reuse items and build things out of them. For example, I could reuse a glass jar as a container for paint brushes. My stepdad took old planks of wood and built a bookshelf so I could do something like that. I've also reused a cookie tin as a vase for flowers.
