REFLECTION QUESTIONLand UseHow is your diet currently impacting deforestation? What can you do to decrease your negative impact and increase your positive impact?
Angela Beck 4/18/2018 3:49 PMWe learned that parts of our diet are impacting deforestation and over-farming near World Rivers that are important too our world. The kids and I discussed things they do with their parents to curb that. One child mentioned going to Farm Connection instead of Walmart or others for your produce and perishables. Another child asked how they could know if their processed food has palm oil in it. There is a list on the article at One Green Planet. Go to www.onegreenplanet.org for a list of foods that are, sadly, increasing deforestation in tropical lands. -
