Kristin Bloser 4/24/2018 8:10 AMIt has been very enlightening to track my daily food waste. While my husband and I eat our dinner leftovers, I notice that what I throw out tends to be buying too much of one food item (like buying too many oranges or lemons at a time). I will take that into consideration going forward and will plan to buy just what we can eat that week. -
Kristin Bloser 4/13/2018 4:26 PMI just offset my upcoming air travel emissions to Alaska by purchasing project carbon offsets from CoolEffect.org. One project that I supported was a Mirador Clean Cookstoves project in Honduras and the other was a Nitrous Oxide Abatement project in the US. -
Kristin Bloser 3/26/2018 3:11 PMI'm excited about getting started with the Spring EcoChallenge. I am focusing my efforts on reducing my meat consumption, buying more products made from renewable sources (like bamboo, where possible), buying organic and local produce, and offsetting the carbon emissions associated with a trip that I am taking in June.
