REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildings and CitiesWhat did you find out? What is the most interesting fact you learned?
Linda Blue 4/12/2018 6:04 PMI really like the concept of seeing buildings as living mechanisms that breathe. I also loved the idea of being able to walk or bike everywhere. Having grown up in LA it was hard to imagine. Now living in the Portland area I can see it’s totally possible. REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodWhat did you find out? What is the most interesting fact you learned?
Linda Blue 4/12/2018 5:58 PMI found that not eating meat is one of the most important thing we can do to decrease both carbon and methane. I learned that there are literally there are children starving because you wanted chicken for dinner. The amount of resources used to feed one chicken is equal to feeding a child. REFLECTION QUESTIONWomen and GirlsGlobally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. Why do you think that is?
Linda Blue 4/12/2018 5:55 PMBecause women are the primary child rearers and they tend to more invested in the social outcome of their children. Linda Blue 4/12/2018 5:55 PMBecause women are the primary child rearers and they tend to more invested in the social outcome of their children.
