CJ Breland 4/25/2018 12:55 PMPeople in the United States do not pay the actual cost of meat. Grazing in the West is often on public lands. And almost always, we, the taxpayers, end up paying for clean-up of ground water spoiled by industrial animal production. People need to know that methane produced by cattle contributes to global warming and that the soybeans and corn currently fed to fatten animals for consumption could go a long way toward feeding the hungry of our planet if we used it to feed people instead.
