    Yes it does. when in a car you are traveling fast looking only forward in a tunnel vision way. when walking or on a bike you have move slower and have more time to observe your surroundings. you are also in the environment rather than being separated by a bubble.

    I think its all in our culture. It probably started from a place of prosperity and just became the norm. Hopefully bringing more awareness to the issue will change cultural norms but i think it is going to take a long time.
