REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity GenerationWhat does your vision of a sustainable community look like? What would need to be changed in order for such vision to become reality?
Andrew Cook 4/25/2018 4:32 PMA sustainable community would be everyone doing their part by making a positive impact on their environment. Everyone at least being aware of their actions and improving on themselves and their energy and resource consumption...that is what people need to strive for. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodHad you heard of the term silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?
Andrew Cook 4/24/2018 9:17 AMI had never heard of silvopasture until now. After learning about it, I think that the biggest advantage of it is the naturalism involved in the process. The animals being able to roam more freely, and fertilize and give back to nature instead of just being stuck in an enclosed area is much better for everyone. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterialsWhat would a sustainable water future in your region look like? What needs to change?
Andrew Cook 4/24/2018 9:15 AMEveryone needs to install hydro-efficient appliances in their homes, like low hanging shower heads and washing machines that are more environmentally friendly when it comes to their water usage. The prices of these need to be lowered, so that more people have access to this better technology.
