What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

We don't use any plastic stuff only once. We try by every means to keep from taking possession of such things, and when it happens we find some new use for it.

I have been learning and working on drawdown solutions for years along with volunteering with Citizens' Climate Lobby to build political will for a rising price on carbon. I felt like I had done a lot for my personal and business footprint and the only way I could see to have hope of enough change soon enough was to work in the policy area. I am very sorry that the Drawdown Project has chosen not to highlight the empowering path of advocacy for a price on carbon in one of it sidebar stories.

Paul Hawken loves Citizens Climate Lobby and Fee and Dividend.  He believes, as we do, that F&D will accelerate all the solutions.  But he kept the book policy free on purpose so everyone would be welcomed into it.  His sidebars focus on the solutions.
