REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Research and Consider Switching to a Hybrid or Electric VehicleReducing (or eliminating) exhaust emissions and improving public health are two benefits of green vehicles. What other motivators inspire you to consider switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle?
Kelsey Fort 4/19/2018 7:38 AMMy friend works for Tesla and so I love learning about all the technology behind the cars. They are such pretty cars too! -
Kelsey Fort 4/18/2018 2:41 PMI went through my refrigerator this past weekend and froze some fruits and veggies that I didn’t think I’d get to eat before they went bad. Now I’m having smoothies with them every morning! -
Kelsey Fort 4/18/2018 2:39 PMI wish there was an option to say you walk to work every day! :) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhat do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than other countries, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How do we start shifting a meat-focused food culture?
Kelsey Fort 4/09/2018 11:25 AMNorth Americans seem to think a meal isn't complete without meat. I think it has to do with media pushing that idea and then people have formed habits that they are reluctant to break. Also, a lot of Americans seem to view it as "manly" to eat more meat. I think it is great to have people focus on eating less meat rather than trying to convince people to give it up entirely. Baby steps are much easier for people to be open to change their habits. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterials Choose Recycled PaperHow can you take your action a step further?
Kelsey Fort 4/06/2018 12:36 PMI choose recycled paper options for submittals that we have to still send hardcopies for.
