  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than other countries, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How do we start shifting a meat-focused food culture?

    Natalie Gabriel's avatar
    Natalie Gabriel 4/22/2018 4:00 PM
Many "American" foods contain meat in them, so eating meat is too engrained in our culture. We can start shifting this by making these "American" foods like hamburgers, more easily accessible as vegetarian.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

I would rather use this money for college and my future or even better food!
