REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Use Public TransitHow has your access to various kinds of transporation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?
Bridey Gallagher 4/10/2018 12:12 PMSince I started working on transportation projects at WSP over two years ago, I have learned SO much about the world of transportation. It has not only been the access that I have to various transportation modes in the city I live in, but also the work that I do for my day job that has allowed me to think differently about all modes of transportation. I don't think I would have started ever even considered riding the City bus if it hadn't been for my involvement in Baltimore City's bus infrastructure improvements this year! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Test Drive an Electric BikeHalf of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Private vehicles account for 60% of trips of a mile or less. Do you feel that these facts apply to you? If so, how might you incorporate an electric bike into your lifestyle?
Bridey Gallagher 4/10/2018 12:09 PMBaltimore City offers a bike share program, of which half the bikes are pedal assisted with Pedalec technology! As a Baltimore City resident, I signed up for the BikeShare program as a "founding" member and have really enjoyed the convenience of the bikeshare as an option to commute around downtown and surrounding neighborhoods. I've already incorporated the bike share into my weekly routine of traveling to and from work on nice days! -
Bridey Gallagher 4/04/2018 7:47 AMWSP Baltimore Green Team launched a multi-part Recycling program in the office this week to celebrate Earth Month! We hope to keep all the additional recycling options available, but will use April as a test run.-
