    Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of this?

    Practicing portion control will help me learn to be satisfied eating less food, which can help me both physically and financially.

    I am a facilitator/trainer for Pachamama Alliance.  Drawdown action is an integral part of our "Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium" which we is facilitated by volunteers all over the world.  I am one.   Help us reach a lot more people by bringing this symposium to as many communities as possible.  www.pachamama.org.   This is a non-profit organization helping to protect our mother earth.   Aside from that, I refuse to use any more plastic bags anywhere that I shop at; I will make sure to carry my cloth bags everywhere I go.   I also commit to eating organic food grown from local farmer markets and co-ops.   I will do my part!
