REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodFun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of this?
Kate Garvey 4/12/2018 8:58 AMNot only me but my pet as well. I realize I've been wasting cat food and she being a small cat should have a slightly smaller portion. I just watched a Jane Goodall documentary and it was a good reminder of the many ways I've been wasting food and water. I do find smaller portion sizes are a real challenge when I'm tired or eating out.
