Samantha Hage 4/22/2018 8:54 PMToday I looked up a bunch of new recipes for 2 because I usually make too much food and end up wasting some. I made zucchini pasta with tomato sauce which left us with zero waste for dinner! -
Samantha Hage 4/20/2018 8:56 AMThe plant based diet has been going pretty well and surprisingly easy. There are many options in Portland for plant based diets so It has been going well.-
Olivea Cooper 4/22/2018 7:50 PMI miss all of the vegan restaurants in Portland! Even if you aren't vegan the food is worth trying. It's super easy in a place like Portland to eat plant based. I'm glad you have taken on the challenge of trying it out! I think it's a surprise to everyone who tries that lifestyle how easy it actually is.

Samantha Hage 4/20/2018 8:55 AMYesterday I ate all waste free meals. For breakfast I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, for lunch I had rice and beans and for dinner I had pasta. I didn't throw any food away and made the correct proportions. -

Samantha Hage 4/14/2018 6:08 PMThis week I have cooked at least one meal a day that was zero waste. It is hard for me to get portion sized correct so I'm going to focus on eating the food that I save as leftovers instead of just letting it sit in the fridge. -
Samantha Hage 4/14/2018 6:07 PM4 days of this week I ate meatless meals. I want to cut meat out of my diet and only eat plant based foods. I am having some trouble not eating dairy, but I am going to try and cut that out as well.
