So many options out there! Have you tried one of the new plant-based burgers that eat and cook like beef but have a carbon footprint lower than chicken?
Here's a kick in the head: pasture-based beef might be better for you and certainly has some environmental benefits, but it looks like lowered carbon footprint isn't one of them. While there is the potential for sequestering significant carbon under pastures, this is very location and management dependent, and is probably better to assume that it's NOT happening that take it as a given.
Shouldn't there be a "carbon neutral" beef option on the market where the carbon footprint has been covered by offsets like is done with flights?
