REFLECTION QUESTIONWomen and GirlsWhat are some of the barriers that exist to women's equal participation and/or representation in your community?
Damien Hines 4/25/2018 9:23 AMHmmm I don't think my community in particular has many barriers to women's equal participation or representation? I'm sure some women know more than me about that, and I'd guess there are some I'm not aware of. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodNow that you know the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates, how will you view expiration dates differently?
Damien Hines 4/25/2018 9:21 AMI am not a big expiration date person, eat stuff after the 'sell by / use by date' all the time. Probably not the best idea cause sometimes I'll really push it maybe further than is reasonable, but I've never gotten sick really from it as far as i know -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodHad you heard of the term silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?
Damien Hines 4/25/2018 9:20 AMSilvopasture seems to be a good idea, I mean it makes sense to just have trees when you have so much land but I suppose it could make it a little more difficult for Ranchers to maintain or something. Either way, neat concept that I'm surprised is not more common. Probably some sort of explanation but i didn't get that far into it -
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterialsHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?
Damien Hines 4/25/2018 9:14 AMAs far as reduce reuse repair repurpose etc, I mostly buy things I'd like to reuse as I don't like buying the same thing more than once.. Also I prefer to fix things that are maintainable. -

Damien Hines 4/23/2018 12:17 PMFixing da bike -
Damien Hines 4/17/2018 8:16 AMEnded up having to work later than I expected and so did not get to the bike shop in time last night to get it fixed.... that's 5 days I wasn't able to complete my challenges. Probably would be better to use a different bike that was a little more durable than a road bike but I don't have one. C'est la vie. I'm probably going to add a couple documentary/research ones so I can get some points -
Damien Hines 4/16/2018 9:14 AMTaking my bike in tonight because I had a water polo tournament this weekend and couldn't drop it off. Hopefully it's fixed asap so I can get back on!-
