My daughter and I signed up this morning after hearing about the challenge at our Unitarian fellowship. We are very excited to make some daily changes to our diet and life that will decrease our negative impacts. Thanks so much!

  Several years ago AUUF had a challenge to do something for 40 days to reduce environmental impacts. I decided to only buy produce from North America (Canada, US, Mexico). As a result, I still read labels. I sometimes forget and wind up with bananas from Ecuador, but I'm no longer tempted by the winter blueberries from Chile.
