REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterialsWhat concerns you the most about how we are affecting the planet? Consider both local and global actions.
Anna Long 4/23/2018 11:20 AMI think that emitting greenhouse gases concerns me the most because it's one of the main reasons for climate change. I think that it concerns me the most because our Earth isn't the same as it once was and if we keep doing what we're doing, we won't have resources to use.-

REFLECTION QUESTION

REFLECTION QUESTIONLand UseAs you learn more about the scope and seriousness of the environmental challenges we face, what impact does that have on your thinking and actions? What are the parts that feel overwhelming? What parts help you feel hopeful?
Anna Long 4/23/2018 11:12 AMLearning about environmental changes makes me think about all the different ways that we could be saving the planet instead of destroying it. I think that figuring out how to stop greenhouse gases is a little overwhelming, but I know that we'll find an affective solution to it. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodNow that you know the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates, how will you view expiration dates differently?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONLand UseHow is your diet currently impacting deforestation? What can you do to decrease your negative impact and increase your positive impact?

REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity GenerationGeothermal energy is reliable, abundant, and efficient. Project Drawdown states that public investment will play a crucial role in its expansion. What kind of investment seems most feasible for you?
Anna Long 4/17/2018 11:56 AMPublic investment will play a very important role because the more people that know about geothermal energy the better. The more people that know about geothermal energy, the chance of making a change is greater. I think that we should start educating more people about geothermal energy and start organizing fundraisers for it. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity GenerationHad you ever heard of biomass techonology before this? What did you learn that surprised you? Share this with your friends!
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodHad you heard of the term silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?
Anna Long 4/13/2018 11:33 AMI have not heard the term silvopasture until now, but I'm glad that I have now. After learning about it, I think that the biggest advantage is that it counteracts the methane emissions. Greenhouse gases are becoming more of a problem and we need to find more ways of counteracting them or more ways of giving off less emissions.
