Here in Ohio I've noticed that when I do my grocery shopping, other people do not use reusable grocery bags  as much as they do in Florida where I used to live.  I am fanatical about making sure I take my reusable bags with me every time I shop in order to eliminate the need for plastic grocery sacks.  I have to give a shout out to the grocery store chain Publix where I used to shop.  They had a sign outside of each of their grocery stores that said "Did you remember your reusable grocery sacks?"  I think the grocery stores up here in Ohio should follow suit and encourage shoppers to do the same.

I feel guilty, but I DO use plastic bags at the grocery, even though I have reusable bags. I take the plastic bags to the food pantry where I volunteer. I wish everyone there brought their own bags, but very few people do. At least I'm recycling my bags there.
