    Composting has made us acutely aware at our house how much food is wasted every day. We have made a deliberate effort as a result to buy on an as needed basis, instead of bulk shopping, especially for produce. And as a bonus, we are eating more fresh food. Fresh food is so much better!

    Habit. Availability. State sponsorship of meat production. We are too short sited and biased toward convenience in our eating habits. Better vegetarian options in schools, more support for organic farming vs agra-business.
