REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterialsHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?
Thomas Minton 4/24/2018 9:12 AMI could reuse things like gatorade bottles as water bottles so that I don't create more trash than I already do. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportTake a moment to think of places you frequent often (work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?
Thomas Minton 4/24/2018 9:08 AMDuring the week I drive to school, and lacrosse practice. The past two days I have carpooled with someone else to both of those things. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity GenerationHad you ever heard of biomass techonology before this? What did you learn that surprised you? Share this with your friends!
Thomas Minton 4/23/2018 6:37 AMNo I have never heard of Biomass technology. I learned that biomass energy can be a source of power for a whole country like Costa Rica. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodHad you heard of the term silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?
Thomas Minton 4/19/2018 10:09 AM- I had not heard about silvopasture before now. I think the biggest advantage of silvopasture is the natural shade and shelter that the trees provide for the livestock.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodNow that you know the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates, how will you view expiration dates differently?
Thomas Minton 4/19/2018 9:47 AMI won't look at them and immediately assume that they are spoiled if the expiration date has passed. That way I will not waste as much food.
