Another box of recycles made their way to the collection center.   I’m also excited about signing up for an ink cartridge recycling program.   My printer ran out of ink, and I was able to recycle the old cartridges when purchasing new ones.   

I’ve been reading some posts, and Krystina in particular shared that she was utilizing the broccoli stalks as a part of her no/limited food waste challenge.   I used the florrettes on pizzas I made yesterday, but then also cooked the stalks to try as a side for another meal.   They actually do taste just as good!  Will be using more stalks in the future.  

Made another stop at the recycling center to empty my recycling bin. 

Although it’s been cold, my mulch is finally spread!  Maybe getting it done early before the spring rains begin will help prevent even more runoff.  Flowers to come once the weather warms!

Emptied  my home recycle basket at my local recycling center on Saturday!
