    Micro turbines can be placed on large structures to take advantage of stronger, steadier breezes. The Eiffel Tower now sports vertical axis turbines that produce electricity for use on site. Where could micro turbines potentially be installed in your city?

    There are not too many high-rises in twin cities but seein wind turbines on them would be an interesting sight!

    Participation in Drawdown challenge itself makes me feel hopeful for the future of our planet and seeing the wide variety of solutions reminds me we are not alone in our efforts.

    Learning more about alternative transportation solutions made me more aware of the carbon emissions associated with flying. Next time when considering a travel I will look into alternative destinations/ means of transit.

    Energy has been a very important topic of inquiry in my academic life but learning about different ways of generating electricity from drawdown resources was a great way to refresh and expand my knowledge of the subject.
