Dorothy Tait 4/25/2018 12:04 PMChallenge is going good. We pick up returnables and recyclables in addition to trash when we go walking. It's still a shame to see how much garbage is just tossed in parks and on the side of the roads. -
Dorothy Tait 4/07/2018 9:23 AMI rescued and recycled a large bag of water and juice bottles from a work event that were headed for the garbage. This is a part of the continual reminders at work about recycling. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterialsHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?
Dorothy Tait 4/07/2018 9:20 AMWe went through the house and collected a large box of old electronic equipment and took it a local e-waste collection event today. That included 11 pounds of old batteries. Lesson learned - I have bought solar powered flashlights and outside radios to eliminate batteries and house power.
