Riding my bike makes me a less angry person. I am more engaged with the neighborhood and buildings I pass through and I take note of changes around my neighborhood more when I'm on bike.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Women and Girls Fund Family Planning
When family planning focuses on healthcare provision and meeting the expressed needs of women, it results in empowerment, equality, and well-being, and the benefits to the planet are side effects. Why is family planning an important civil rights consideration?

Caring for a child is an all-encompassing task that falls primarily to women. While being occupied with childcare, women cannot attain independence that comes with education or employment. Women without education or a way to make their own money are then dependent on someone else. Dependency takes away independence and civil rights.
