    Georgie Rae 3/21/2018 1:53 PM
It is going to be extremely easy. I am a vegetarian so I really mainly only eat fresh fruits and vegetables
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Land Use Forest-Friendly Foods 1
How is your diet currently impacting deforestation? What can you do to decrease your negative impact and increase your positive impact?

    Georgie Rae's avatar
    Georgie Rae 3/21/2018 1:52 PM
Anything boxed in non recycled boxed is impacting deforestation. I could make sure to only buy food items that are in packages that are 100% recycled
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Land Use Buy Bamboo
Are bamboo alternatives readily available in your community? If not, what are other sustainable alternatives?

    Georgie Rae's avatar
    Georgie Rae 3/21/2018 1:51 PM
In my community they are not. Other things that could be used is recycled plastic, bails of straw
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I learned there are different ways they are able to do wave and tidal energies

I think people need to take time out of their days to do easy task to save our planet. Recycle, switch off lights when not needed, plant some trees. Now bigger picture would be getting more people to use solar energy or wind energy

Reduce- amount of water and electricity used in the house
Reuse- water bottles to drink or use recyclables to make items good for the enviroment like bird feeders
Refuse- DO NOT use plastic bags

    Georgie Rae 3/14/2018 6:40 AM
I would rather use that money to give back to the environment in some way, shape, or form, especially using it to make a pollinator garden.
