    This weekend I started the process of properly recycling old clothing that is tattered enough that a thrift store would not accept them. As an alternative we are recycling through the city.

    I've been doing some spring cleaning in the house. This has included properly recycling paint cans that are going on 10 years old.

    I purchased recycling bins for my home and also posted NYC sanitation recycling stickers in my kitchen. This has been a big help to my young son and his babysitter. Prior to this they had no idea that juice box's went with metal/glass/plastic.
