    Food
What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than other countries, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How do we start shifting a meat-focused food culture?

While I am already vegetarian, I know most people in the US are not. I believe part of the animal consumption epidemic across our country is due to the easy access of meat products. We eat when we're bored, not when we're hungry. We don't value food the way that most European countries do. I think the easiest way to start this shift is to start offering less expensive meatless options at restaurants.
