Shirley White 4/25/2018 12:04 PMI had read the Drawdown Book at some length far prior to entering this challenge. I am afraid that the timing of entering this challenge did not work well for me, but I am trying to make up for this at this last moment. -
Shirley White 4/25/2018 11:56 AMA couple of years ago I decided that I needed to choose where to put my energy and attention during my remaining years. As a retired nurse, I decided that the analogy that best helped me make a such as a difficult choice was that of the ABC's of emergency first aid. And so, I equate caring for the earth as of first priority in my choice of what to do. Without providing the essential care to the person of ABC's (Airway, Breath, Circulation) whatever other care we might offer is futile. The same, it seems, is true of my efforts, for if we do not care for the sustainability of the planet, all else that we do will not matter, if we have not offered essential stewardship to the care of our only planet home. -
