I moved to San Diego in January of 2018 and because I did not know the city, I chose to live somewhere within walking distance of work.  This familiarizes me with my community and is a better option for our environment - win win!  Walking gives you a chance to interact with your environment and it's inhabitants.  I feel very lucky to have this option.
