It's a good experience to join such event.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Women and Girls
What are some of the barriers that exist to women's equal participation and/or representation in your community?

    Cin Yu Ye's avatar
Cin Yu Ye 4/25/2018 5:21 PM
In some temple activities, women may be banned to join the event due to taboo established by ancestors long time ago.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Women and Girls
How are people responding to the statistics you're sharing on social media?

    Cin Yu Ye's avatar
Cin Yu Ye 4/25/2018 5:16 PM
They think there are still many things to do on this issue.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How do you address your own feelings of concern, fear or despair about climate change?

    Cin Yu Ye's avatar
Cin Yu Ye 4/25/2018 5:13 PM
I think that I am a little bit worried about it. Climate change may cause extreme weather which will bring a lot of problems. Furthermore, the planet may become unsuitable for our offsprings to live.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials
What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

    Cin Yu Ye's avatar
Cin Yu Ye 4/25/2018 5:06 PM
I regularly use plastic bags while buying breakfast. I think they could be replaced by eco-friendly bags.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials
What concerns you the most about how we are affecting the planet? Consider both local and global actions.

    Cin Yu Ye's avatar
Cin Yu Ye 4/25/2018 5:03 PM
The most one is that we keep manufacturing more and more indecomposable things.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Buildings and Cities
How can you share what you have learned in your research with others?

    Cin Yu Ye's avatar
Cin Yu Ye 4/25/2018 2:00 AM
I will share the information I have learned through community websites such as Facebook or others.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Women and Girls
Globally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. How can you better support communities by supporting women?

    Cin Yu Ye's avatar
Cin Yu Ye 4/25/2018 1:57 AM
I will buy things in the stores which employ more female staffs or give them higher salaries.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Land Use
How is your diet currently impacting deforestation? What can you do to decrease your negative impact and increase your positive impact?

    Cin Yu Ye's avatar
Cin Yu Ye 4/25/2018 1:53 AM
When I drink coffee or coco, there will be more deforestation around the world. What I can do is to avoid having these kind of drinks. Instead, we can have drinks such as orange juice or other juice which made of fresh fruits growing by local farmers.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than other countries, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How do we start shifting a meat-focused food culture?

    Cin Yu Ye's avatar
Cin Yu Ye 4/25/2018 1:46 AM
I think that North America is a suitable place for cattle-feeding. It's no wonder meat became their main course. To start shifting a meat focused food culture, the first step is to tell them more advantages of eating vegetables and other foods.
