    We have a state farmers' market here where local farmers can bring their produce for sale.  We should give preference in our purchases to those farmers who use regenerative agricultural techniques.

    Several windows were replaced last month, a few more today, and more next month as we gradually replace all the windows in the house.  These more energy-efficient windows will enable us to stay comfortable while using less energy.

    One thing is to always look for shade-grown coffee.  The session about palm oil was discouraging since it seems to be in everything we eat: the list of everyday products is very long!

    To reduce our electricity usage, we had a home energy audit performed. We also installed new HVAC system with a heat pump and new ducts.  We also added insulation in the attic.  We use all LED lights, and wash our clothes with cold water.  We also purchase renewable energy credits from Arcadia.com.     Supporting #CoolEffect Clean Cookstoves as part of the Drawdown Ecochallenge!  Clean cookstoves are amazing, reducing fuel use, reducing emissions and saving lives!

    The scope of the problem is a bit discouraging.  It involves all of humanity, more than 200 countries.  Can we expect cooperation from all these countries?  I try to stay reasonably current on climate change actions.  At the moment, the U.S. is trying to go backwards (no more Paris Climate Accord, emphasis on fossil fuels)!   As for hopeful...
