    I recently bought new makeup from a company I haven't bought from before that is women owned, and will do my best to further redirect my purchases to support women-owned businesses! My using my purchasing power to support women-owned business, I am indirectly supporting diversity and inclusion in communities.

    I am very aware of our Center for Sustainability's REPS program that will assess your building for you and make changes to make it more energy efficient! I will have my house next year REPS audited and outfitted to be more sustainable.

    I feel that balance is the entire of point of living a sustainable life and promoting the practice of sustainability.

    When I cook at home, I make meals for myself in my smaller pan and eat on smaller plates to reduce food waste as often it is hard to judge how much food one person needs.

    I often think about behavior change and what other motivators exist besides money. Everyone has different values, but how can we make a living a sustainable life fit in to these many values. I’m sure there is a way. We just have to connect them better.

    I know that interacting with people and nature are so important to me. I try everyday to take time for my mind cherish everything I have—material and not.

    I had not heard of this farming technique before now. This reminds me of permaculture gardening, but on a larger scale with livestock. All of the videos and images I saw appeared that this method is so pleasant and makes the work of raising animals and being a steward of the land so much easier.

    I think the fact that we removed the name of animal from what we call it's flesh as food is one reason why there is less compassion for animals and more consumption of meat. The words pork and beef have taken the living creature out of the socially acceptable supply chain of the meat industry. If we call the meat by the animals name, it might...
