    The two biggest factors for most of my choices for transportation is arrival time at my destination and cost.  This makes telecommuting a very good choice because I am at work immediately and it costs me nothing in transport costs.

    Renewable energy adoption is still too slow and not sufficiently economical.  In particular, the payback period for residential solar in less temperate climates needs to improve alot.

    I primarily learned more about regenerative agriculture, particularly reduced tillage.  My son's girlfriend comes from a family that practices reduced tillage.  Now I have a better appreciation for what they are doing.  FWIW, they are also having wind turbines placed on their farmland.

    I believe all women should have the right to choose their family planning strategy.  With that, in my opinion, it's imperative to fund organizations who help people that are at a financial disadvantage to exercise their right to choose.

    What doesn't contain palm oil? Holy cow, who knew. Shade grown coffee seems like an easy place to start depending on cost differences.

    I think it is interesting to see how IoT and Big Data can be useful to many of these solutions.

    All of them, but the damage to the land is probably the one I care the most, because regenerative agriculture alone could help reverse climate change.
