Solar Schoolhouse

I definitely prefer taking public transit because I know about its positive environmental implications, and I enjoy talking with strangers. Many good conversations have been had. So it's green, and a social opportunity!

When asking someone else to have a virtual meeting, I can specifically say, "I'd love to do this because it reduces transportation emissions and thus is a small but meaningful step towards climate change mitigation."

I can support my local bus service, Intercity Transit. I can encourage my fellow students to join me in using our bus service as well. The more of us who create a consistent habit of taking the bus, the more it will be socially acceptable and "cool" to use public transit! :-)
