Women in developing countries seem to have little to no knowledge about birth control and things of that nature. By having family planning, even here in the United States even, we can prevent while families from going into poverty because they have more mouths to feed as well as decreasing the risk of women in developing countries becoming ill...

America tends to enjoy bigger portions for cheaper prices and, unfortunately, this means we eat a lot more processed foods. We also focus on the profit we can make off of this way of living so we don’t change. I believe if we can really make an effort to show how you feel if you are a meat free diet even a couple times a week by just simply...

Since I live in a booming, productively modern city, the micro turbines would be best utilized in the outskirts of the city and in the countryside. To absorb and utilized the breezes there and supply power in places where there aren’t many back up generators and are the first to go without power.

Special buoys and other devices can be used to convert the power generated by waves and tides into renewable energy. They are currently being created for commercial use. The United States alone gets 2,100 terawatt-hours a year. There are three different ways that are being considered for development: buoys (floating devices), oscillating water...

Electricity generation solutions are second to food for mitigation of carbon dioxide in each of the three scenarios: Plausible, Drawdown and Optimum. But within the electricity generation sector, utility scale solutions have far more impact, with land based wind the greatest potential impact. I was surprised that offshore wind ranked behind...
