  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Land Use Learn about Temperate Forests
As you learn more about the scope and seriousness of the environmental challenges we face, what impact does that have on your thinking and actions? What are the parts that feel overwhelming? What parts help you feel hopeful?

    Tim Baumann's avatar
    Tim Baumann 4/25/2018 7:42 AM
I find Project Drawdown to be a hopeful endeavor because of how it factors into account human tendencies and cultural norms.  It asks us to be better at how we do things and not necessarily different.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Land Use Advocate for Forest Protection
Higher standards of living are very often dependent on moving our environmental costs elsewhere. What are some specific ways in which the environmental impacts of your own lifestyle might be shifted elsewhere?

    Tim Baumann's avatar
    Tim Baumann 4/25/2018 7:40 AM
So much of our electronic recycling is shipped overseas rather than dealt with here.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    Tim Baumann's avatar
    Tim Baumann 4/25/2018 7:37 AM
I learned about Silvopasture when I read the Project Drawdown book last summer.  I think the biggest advantage is how silvopasture promotes diversity in the ecosystem.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Clean air, clean water and healthy food are three reasons to care about regenerative agriculture. In what ways can you support your closest regenerative agriculture farm?
