    Yes, but surely they are shipped in from distant production sites.  The GHG associated with shipping concerns me.  Maybe locally-made craft wood products are better?

      Good point Linda. Transportation of goods across the world has got to have an effect on GHGs. And many countries do not regulate forest practices. Oregon has forest practices that could be stronger but at least some standards are followed.
