    Countries that do not know about family planning have very high birth rates, and have no access to or knowledge of contraceptives. If we are able to educate more of these countries the birth rates should go down and the mortality rates of youth will increase, to match the sustainable level of a population.

    Getting rid of gas powered vehicles is the most important and impact step on the road to sustainability, which is why using more electric vehicles for transportation (both public and private) will have a huge effect on emissions.

    I found lots of new information about biomass, something I didn't know much about in the first place. Biomass makes up more than 2% of all energy generated in the U.S and is becoming more efficient every day. Great learning experience!

    I signed up for my paperless information at my job, Target, and created an account so I can get my tax information and view my pay and benefits online instead of through the mail.

    I replaced 2 lights in my house with low energy LED lights, consuming far less power and a small step to helping the environment.
