Linda Malvino 4/05/2018 4:52 PMA learned behavior originating from the animal farmer mentality which was prevalent in much of the US. Fast food is a huge business here and number one on their marketing list is the "All American" Burger or Hotdog with a side of greasy french fries. We need more delicious vegetarian options at all types of restaurants and nutrition education beginning in elementary school. Our bad dietary habits are killing us. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Smaller PortionsFun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of this?
