This weekend I learned to think of the earth as a living person.  Take care of her like you would yourself or a loved one.

    Food Reduce Animal Products
What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than other countries, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How do we start shifting a meat-focused food culture?

America has always been meat driven to a point. But with the introduction of factory farming and being able to produce more meat than needed has become a big issue.  The waste in our society is out of control.  We seriously need to get back to small farms but not sure how when we have all these big cities and a zillion people.  I myself have been buying from small local farms for all my produce and meat.  That helps me keep my buying down to only what is needed.
