REFLECTION QUESTIONLand Use Forest-Friendly Foods 1How is your diet currently impacting deforestation? What can you do to decrease your negative impact and increase your positive impact?
Lucia Rossi 4/17/2018 1:09 PMBy purchasing consumer goods using ingredients such as palm oil (which is obtained by destroying forests in places like Malaysia) you are contributing to deforestation. This can be solved by eating foods that do not contain ingredients that impact deforestation.-
Lora Jones 4/18/2018 12:19 PMPalm oil is a very comment addition to many processed foods. Have you noticed that palm oil is an ingredient of any of the breads, crackers or sweets that your family purchases? Buying organic labeled products means there is a less chance of the use of palm oil. Great analysis!
