I was quite surprised to see how many people watched all the way through my very long Instagram story of statistics! The experience of trying to consolidate the reason empowering women and girls is good for carbon emissions was very difficult. I wanted to keep it short, but it's such a complex issue! I also hate videoing myself, but felt women and girls were important enough to do it.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Keep Track of Wasted Food
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

As a student who has both a meal plan and does a weekly grocery shop, I imagine that I was a fair amount of food. I'd much rather be spending money on travel or books!
