REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterials Install a Toilet BankHow can your region/household prepare for changing water situations in order to become more resilient?
Nicholas Young 4/25/2018 4:09 PMYOU DO NOT NEED TO SHOWER EVERY DAY AND YOU DO NOT NEED SO MUCH WATER TO FLUSH A TOILET OR DO THE DISHES. Use less of it. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Explore Other Transport SolutionsWhat did you find out? What is the most interesting fact you learned?
Nicholas Young 4/10/2018 6:07 PMSouthern NJ sucks for public transportation, and this country (in general) is trash when it comes to efficient, accessible, and punctual public transportation (here's to you Europe and Japan). Most people drive multi-passenger vehicles to and from work, which causes traffic adding to the noxious fume issue... -
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterials Recycle Everything I CanHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?
Nicholas Young 4/10/2018 6:05 PMReuse plastic materials, refuse known environmentally damaging products, repair deforested areas, reduce carbon footprint, re-purpose material items I no longer use. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLand Use Learn about Temperate ForestsAs you learn more about the scope and seriousness of the environmental challenges we face, what impact does that have on your thinking and actions? What are the parts that feel overwhelming? What parts help you feel hopeful?
Nicholas Young 4/10/2018 6:03 PMSAVE ALL THE LAND!! Too many people on this rock... It's overwhelming to consider the true scope of societies impacts and then ponder any solutions (since we manufacture things to be in final form, thus cannot be recycled). Feeling hopeful as more people learn about small daily impacts that add up!

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Smaller PortionsFun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of this?
