REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodIn what other ways can you exercise your civic duty to protect the environment and reduce carbon emissions?
sandy spears 4/11/2018 3:13 PMSo I did this but would prefer a specific legislative ask or a group in Texas that's already doing this. But realize how uninvolved people are and maybe that's why those things don't exist yet -
sandy spears 4/10/2018 5:45 AMThey keep giving me the same challenges. I have completed keep track of wasted food and buy food locally for 3 days in a row now. Do i get credit each day I do that? -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodFun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of this?
sandy spears 4/09/2018 7:22 PMI want to be more mindful of how much i really eat. Sometimes I am not thinking about that.-

sandy spears 4/08/2018 8:56 AMOK so we already shop at the farmer's market. But we will be intentional about buying 2 meals a week from there. Also, in terms of trash, take your egg cartons back to the egg sellers and they reuse them. Also the honey people will take back the honey jars or you can just go to Whole foods with your own container and fill up with honey. -
sandy spears 4/07/2018 5:26 PMIt's going well. When I email a representative about restoring farmland, I would love to have examples of other legislators having done something like that to show them.-
Mary Remar 4/08/2018 8:04 AMI would like this as well. I am going to email the Reps I know and have emails for with all of the 'cont ct your rep' challenges. Invite them to our team. References of of other other work by leg'leg would be great.
