April 16 at 4:49 PMI have reached out to officials in my county as well as my neighboring county expressing my support of a proposed bike trail project. It is currently in the planning phase. I focused on both the tourism boost it would create as well as how I would use it to reduce my carbon footprint by biking to work.

April 16 at 4:16 PMApparently there was a perennial biomass project in my county. They were studying different types of grass for the best results, working with the state cooperative extension. However, there is no news of them past 2012. They just sort of disappeared.
